Scene 6: John's Apartment

(Lights come up on John's apartment exactly how it looked in the beginning. John is asleep at his desk, but as the lights come up, he stirs.)

JOHN: Rayne, I'm sorry! Whoa. That was… a dream? But how? And… why? Well, a promise is a promise, even if it's to someone who technically doesn't exist. (He grabs a pen and clicks it open) At least, not yet anyway!

(He begins writing on a piece of paper, and as he writes, Alucard and Rayne silently walk onstage to stand behind him. They lean over to see what he is writing, each putting a hand on one shoulder. The door slowly opens, and Alice looks in. She smiles, seeing John hard at work.)
