Vicissitude

A reflection upon waters so clear

Yet my mind, my mind is muddied

Can't comprehend the image before my eyes

I don't know what's staring back at me

If I could only bear to scream

Scream out for help, for love

Maybe I would find the answers

That I so desperately seek

A little vicissitude is what I need they say

But who are they to say?

How can I change

When I can't recognize what I am?

If I could only see

See the man in the mirror

Staring at me

Would all these wrongs come undone?
