I sat late one night in the dungeons I have stayed for so long,

Night and night again I waited for the day I would be free.

Chains held me fast, and far away there sounded a beating of a gong,

And then silences surround me, thoughts wonder in my head and then flee.

I will save myself-

I once heard we are born crying,

Live complaining and die disappointed,

That is a game I am not playing,

This pitying game of heroes and heroines.

And at the next coin toss I would have won.

My escape of time so devastated,

These chains held down will break under the force of my will

I'd make myself my heroine, when my hero's story has not yet begun.

I will save myself-
