Waters of Your Life
The Waves are tossing and sloshing
I'm being pulled down by the sea
The torrent breaks upon the cliff
I barely dodge its viciousness
But you drink it up like it's sun
Darling, help me please
It's brought me to my knees
If you don't stop it now, I'm going to drown
The waters of your life are too rough for me
You surf the waves with incredible ease
But I'm surfing for my life
Smiling and sighing
Floundering and fighting
Our lives were never alike
Darling, help me please
It's brought me to my knees
If you don't stop it now, I'm going to drown
The waters of your life are too rough for me
Swimming away from the sharks in the sea
Darling help me please
The churning has brought me down to my knees
Darling help me please
The waters, the waters, the waters
Tossing, sloshing, tossing
Too rough, too rough
Darling, these waters aren't for me
