"I Fought Valiantly!"

They both had their guns pointed towards each other, both with a disgusted look on their face. Nikki moved closer as she looked into the ocean blue eyes of her enemy, both mesmerized and with hate. He stared right back, never blinking, she was the top soldier of the S.P.O, the most elite group of soldiers since Armageddon.

"Your kind is not welcome here on earth, all you do is destroy and sacrifice human beings to please your queen. You won't take my daughter away with you, I'll make sure of that." she told him, slowly pulling back the trigger.

"I'm not like the others, I don't want to destroy. I never wanted the human race to be in a state such as this. I know is must be hard for you and your daughter, but you have to believe me I am not your enemy."

He slowly lowered his arm, letting his gun fall from his hand. She looked over at the weapon then back at him. She didn't know why, but she had a feeling he was telling the truth, still she kept the barrel of her pistol pointed at him.

"Our race fought honorably again demons such as you, my grandfather died trying to protect my father from the demons and the same with my father. He is dead because of you, all of you!

"I fought valiantly against the demons, I saved you and your daughter from a demon attack earlier, and still you accuse me?! I had nothing to do with killing your grandfather or father, I fought to protect you and your race!

"Liar!"

She pulled back the trigger and the bullet flew out of the barrel. She expected it to go right through his chest, but instead he grabbed it from mid air. He grunted as the cross that was inscribed on the bullet burnt his skin, giving him the scar of a cross on his left palm.

"D-Don't you think, If I was like them, that I would have saved your daughter?"

He opened his hand, letting the bullet fall to the earth. He held up his palm, showing her the burnt flesh of his hand, pointing to the cross.

"This is who I serve now, no matter how much pain I got through I will never give up until humanity is back on its feet."

She lowered her gun, looking at him as he grunted in pain. She wondered why he had done what he did, was he really what he said he was?

"Humanity hates him, Hell hunts him"
