You are standing close to me, but I don't feel a thing when you touch me. You speak to me, but I don't hear you say a word because my soul is with the lord. Daydreaming, my mind is lost in the clouds that are hanging high above us. I don't need your love to help me find inner peace because I have a piece of heaven with me. Comfortably numb, I forget about the world for a while and I don't regret anything about my life. I smile for I have experience a spiritual rebirth in which has restored my faith in God and myself. Comfortably numb, I reject from my mind that I may be dumb and ugly. Lighthearted, I rest in my tomb, a bed of roses. I feel as safe as a baby that is living side of a woman's womb for nine months.
