A Brand New Day

Come here, my pretty little girl

Come with me and play.

Let me give you a little twirl

Let me see you, Mrs. Darnay.

Hear me cackle at your silly plea.

Who do you think you speak to?

I am twice the woman you could hope to be.

And I am here to collect my due.

We are both wives, you reason

I should help you out of the fray

But it's no longer that season

And today's my day.

So come out with me and play,

And I know that today's my day

It's time for you all to pay.

Let me see you, Mrs. Darnay.
