residues
a thief of memory can
take the photographs,
but it can never take
what floats in your
mind that shuffles
like a PowerPoint
presentation - maybe
there's just something
mechanical about the
way we subconsciously
take photos and store
them in our memory
cards, but you lose some
files along the way,
you can't selectively
press left-click and delete
permanently these dreams,
the residues stick to the tips
of fingers, lingering as you're
stuck in an infinite reverie
