NightMare From Hell
Saphiraph had just finished her writing at a quater to twelve in the morning having been up all day taking care of some work for her boss, Jay Zero at the Blood Center. She yawned after saving the adresses and names that are due to have notifactions mailed to them for their next blood transfusing. "Saphiraph?" She heard the male of her life whisper behind her in a sadden voice. Frowning with worry Saphiraph looked into the eyes of the were-fox who was standing in the doorway with dried tear stained cheeks, his Avenage Sevenfold T-shirt a mess with wrinkles, his jeans having oil stains on them from working of his 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS again . "What's wrong Walker? Are you okay?", she said while standing turning off her computer. He only looked away as he stepped aside showing another male behind him in the livingroom sitting on the couch looking around awkwardly, seemingly wipping his face off. "Who is that?" Walker stayed silent looking over his shoulder with long lost love in his eyes. "That is Seth... The fox I used to date before two years ago when his mother didn't like the fact he was bi AND was dating me." Sapiraph got a better look at the male fox in her house and with realizion she stared at her co-worker Seth Kaim. "Seth Kaim, is your lost love?" Walker stared at her in shock never having said that to her he felt like he has betrayed her for even looking to someone else with love in his eyes.
"F...Forgive me my love... But it's just... ... I still love him..." Saphiraph could understand still loving someone, but she also knew that they both loved each other, unlike her that male she still loved had no feelings for her but as a sister which till this very day hurts her. "I see, we shouldn't keep him waiting now should we?" She said with a loving smile. Walker was amazed at how understanding she was and hugged her tight and kissed her once on the lips before going back into the livingroom where Seth was. Saphiraph went into th kitchen and made some tea, her siler wolf ears twitched trying to be able to hear what the two were talking about but she heard only soft, sad, longing, and loved whispers from them. 'What a day this has been... Who knew Seth was talking about my Mate? Guessing Seth had another fight with his girlfriend.' With a sigh Saphiraph left out the kitchen with three cups of tea on a small tray walking into the livingroom setting the tray on the table. "Here we are boys." She heard a soft thank you from them both. "So Seth, my Mate? I can understand why." Saphiraph just smiled at the two as she got herself comfortable in the black leather chair. Seth only stared at his cup of tea which was in his hands "I... I didn't know he was your Mate Saph. When he opened the door... I couldn't help but to break down and..." Saphiraph raised one of her eyebrows being curious of what he was going to say, but she knew better than to push for details. "It's okay Sweety. No harm done, I would probably do the same if I haven't seen my long lost love in two years. I'm so sorry for your mother's... Choice of judgement." Both Walker and Seth choked on a sob. "How can you be so calm about all this? And so understanding?" Walker asked wipping away his tears. "Because I know what would happen if I saw Shadow again..." She replied suddenly feeling out of place as she could see the spirital bond reforming between her Mate and her best friend Seth. "May we talk in private Mate?... ... ... Please?" Walker asked so softly she barely heard him at all. Seth was silent and continueing to look into his tea cup. Saphiraph smiled while getting up, "Not at all my love. Take all the time you wish. You know where to find me whenever you need me." She kissed both of them on their cheeks before heading up the stairs to the second story. 'This should be interesting.' Saphiraph thought to herself as she checked on her three kits who should have been alseep, but as usual weren't. "William, I said bedtime an hour ago." She watched as he jumped from being caught red handed from playing his PS3. "I'm sorry Mommy! I lost track of time!" He said as he saved his game and turned off the system while getting into his bed again with a shy smile. Saphiraph smiled back at her son sitting on the side of his bed tucking him in once again and kissing his forehead. "Goodnight my little one. Now go to bed." William smiled with a giggle, "Yes Mommy. I love you." She ruffled his hair getting up making sure he had his stuffed panada with him, "I love you too. Sweetdreams." William murred as he slowly fell asleep clinging to his stuffed animal, Saphiraph chuckled softly closing his door half way so she could hear if he needed anything.
She went and checked on their daughter Kaite finding she was fast asleep half her body hanging out of her twin sized bed, Saphiraph shook her head tucking her daughter in making sure she doesn't fall out of bed, kissing her forehead softly whispering a goodnight and I love you. Saphiraph just got a murr in reply and a turn on the side. With a chuckle Saphiraph once again left the room with the door half closed. "Now for Vincent. Who is probably awake talking to his Uncle Shadow." She knocked on the door and heard a "Got to go Mom's making her rounds!" Followed by a chuckle and a goodnight kit. That's when she decided to open the door, "Talking to Uncle Shadow again, Vin?" Vincent sighed handing her the phone when she held out her hand. "Yes ma'am I was. I'm sorry, just he hasn't called in awhile and hasn't been over... Was just making sure he was okay..." Saphiraph hugged her son close, "I know sweetheart... But you have to remember his job. It takes a lot of his time." Vincent hugged her back and nodded, "I know... But still... Even cousin Sai thinks it's depressing not being able to talk to hisown Father when he really needs him." She tucked him in and layed beside him moving his hair out of his face. "I know. It's not easy at all." Vincent didn't say anything for a long time. "Hey mom?" Saphiraph was looking around his room at all the posters of all types of bands, "Hm?" Once again Vincent stayed silent for a while which made her looked to him. "... Why did you give up your kids to their Father?" Saphiraph died on the inside at the question. She didn't want to tell him that Hunter, the youngest of the four before him wasn't even related to them but by her blood. She was a surgate mother for Jay Zero and his ex-wife, which everyone knew this but the children. No one wanted them to treat Hunter differently but she knew deep down they wouldn't. Even though it would have been cheating to most of the other mated males and females, Jay's ex-wife, Bex couldn't produce eggs at all. And both Jay and Bex wanted a child of his blood line so, being a family friend of Jay's, Saphiraph asked if she could. Shadow at the time was leaving her so Saphiraph wished to have felt useful to her friendand repay him for the wonderous job and life he had allowed her to have. He took care of her when she was weak and couldn't do anything on her own. 'I'll leave out a few things... But he'll ask again, he always does.' "Do you really want the truth about it?" He nodded and sat up, "Please?" Saphiraph sat up and put him in her lap wrapping arms around his small form, even though him, Katie and William were all 12 years old. "Well... You know my boss Jay Zero right?" "Mr. Zero? Yes. He has a son named Hunter." She nodded slowly. "Hunter is my son too. I was a surgate for Jay and his ex-wife. She was unble to have children, so me being a family friend. She wanted me to be their surgate mother. And yes, this is before me and your father got married. We were dating at the time, I told him and he was okay with it." Vincent shut his open mouth, "I hate when you do that Mommy." He said with a pout. She couldn't help but to chuckle, "Most do. I was 7 months pregnant with Hunter when Jay found out his wife was cheating on him. So they got a divorce, Jay missed the court date because I went into labor with his son." "She didn't like that did she?" Saphiraph nodded, "She was very angry, yes. I raised Hunter till it the divorce was finally. Jay didn't want anything to happen to him." "She was crazy?" Once again she nodded. "Yes, she was sadly. Just recently everything as settled." Vincent nodded slowly. "So what about Sai, Cain and Beth?" Saphiraph was silent for a while before saying in a very weak voice. "They were old enough to make their own choices, so they decided to go with their father." Vincent frowned and whined, "But... Why though?" She kissed the top of his head tucking him in again, "Because they thought it would be too much of a job to take care of six children. But we'll never know. Now then, bedtime. Goodnight Vincent I love you." She said kissing his forehead. "Night Mommy, I love you too." He said alittle sad. She closed his door all the way just like he liked it to be. She walked slowly to her bedroom which she shared with her mate and sometimes her 12 year olds when they had a bad dream.
Saphiraph closed the bathroom door and started a bath, stripping she didn't let the water get warmed before sinking into the tub with a sigh. 'Damnit... Why did Vincent have to be so smart?' She closed her eyes and dunked herself under the now warming water as her tears instantly became one with the water. For she was never one to let her emotions of the past take her over. But when talking about her children and her lost love, only two things that could ever make her crumble. "Saphiraph?" She barely heard from over the water still running and the through the door, sitting up she turned off the water. "Come in Walker." And he did just that but there was something about him that seemed off, as if he was uncomfortable and nervous. Frowning Saphiraph sunk into the water again, "What's the matter?" Walker looked at her then away swallowing repeatedly, "Co... Could I hold him?.... Please...? Just one last time...?" She stared into the water at her feet for only a few seconds before turning and smiling at him. "That's fine by me. I understand completely. Go ahead. I promise it's okay." He smiled and whispered a thank you before closing the door again. Saphiraph listened to his heavy footsteps going down the stairs then back up and into the guest bedroom with a two clicks. One for the door closing the other for it locking, she once again dunked herself. 'I wonder what will happen. I know they are both falling in love with each other all over again. I saw the spirital bond reforming.' Saphiraph sighed within her mind with a frown she sat up and grabbed the wash cloth and soap. 'I love Walker so much. I know he loves me too, why else would he ask me to marry him? But Seth and him were mates first... ... ... Damnit all... ... ... I know what it's like to never get the first mate out of your mind...' She growled at herself and reached for her hidden knife under the sink and slowly cut her thigh, she wasn't stupid to make it long or deep, only to make it look like a cut from shaving. After a few more of those in random places on her legs she put it back and watched the cuts bleed.
Saphiraph got out of the tub and into her silk white tank and shorts getting into her empty bed. "So weird without him here..." She said to herself as she moved the pillows around a bit to make it seem as if someone was in bed with her. Saphiraph turned on the tv and started to watch a random show not really pay attention to it at all, soon she was fast asleep clinging to her pillow which smelt of her Were-Fox.
~Nightmare~
Saphiraph found herself once again in the hospital but something was different. She was pregnant again with someone else by her side and not her Mate. "Wh...What's going on?" The guy smiled and kissed her forehead, "Just breath Babe, just breath." Saphiraph blinked and then within a few seconds it felt like it was over. She had a baby in her arms crying. "I think he's hungry Babe." She was staring at the child in her arms that was hers, watching the baby cry she slowly removed her hospital gown from her right breast letting the baby boy suckle. 'What the hell is going on...? Dreams don't feel THIS real... ... ... Do they?' As her dream seemed to fast forward it went to a completely different view point. Saphiraph found herself within a bus it seemed like and she was looking for the baby boy she supposedly had a few months ago. Then she looked up and saw the boy on the neighborhood street sitting while crying, Saphiraph screamed for the bus driver to watch out... ... Only... ... It was too late... ... She srambled to get out then feel to her knees and screamed hands grasping her heart through her shirt and flesh, claws digging into her chest. The male that was with her at the hospital was frozen at her side staring at someone's shadow in the darkness of the trees then he to screamed feeling Saphiraph's heart go cold as she saw her child laying there motionless on the ground bleeding.
Saphiraph took off her leather jacket and shakely stood and walked over to the baby, only to fall once again to her knees laying the jacket on the ground, but she was unable to touch it. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked up into the male's face that was just as haunted as her own. "You do it... ... I... ... ... I can't... I just can't..." He only nodded, his black hair falling into his blue eyes as he knelt down picking up his son wrapping him up in the jacket. Saphiraph was pale, her body having gone cold, her heart no longer beating like it should. She turned toward her house and went into the garage to grab her sword, Saphiraph then walked back to the bus, the people began to scream for their lives as she started killing them. But the male stopped her from killing the busdriver, "No... We need him to take us to the graveyard..." Saphiraph growled from sorrow and rage but pulled away only to break down and cry again.
Soon they were in a graveyard burying their baby. Saphiraph watched as the male put the little one into the ground and covered it. She had the blade to the driver's throat waiting to kill him for what he did, the male got back on the bus only to sit her down in the middle of the bus so she wouldn't kill the driver. "Stay here... Okay?" Saphiraph didn't say anything just looked out the window as bloody tears fell from her eyes. The male walked away toward the busdriver and told him to drive again. As the bus started moving... She stared at the grave for her son. The dirt began to move and then the baby boy turned around with every tooth sharpened to a point, claws slightly curling from how long they were. Then it began to float in the air, the background began to change to a shimmers of greys, blacks and whites. "H...Hun? A... Are you seeing this?" Saphiraph said in fear starting to get up, she turned her head away to look up at the front to the males agrueing about how they can't find a way out of this maze of roads and tombstones, then the brakes where hit as the baby turned to three and started to move in a circle turning red from its blood having a dark voice. "HE DID THIS! HE DID THIS! HE DID THIS!"
~End Nightmare~
Saphiraph gasped bolting up right in bed covered in sweat. Shocking herself because she did not scream when coming to reality, shaking violently she could see the sunshine coming through the closed curtains. "I...Its morning..." She said in a weak and shakey voice putting her face in her hands, then she got up out of bed so fast she nearly fell from the sudden dizziness that over came her. But Saphiraph over came it quicky, because she was determinded to make sure Kaite, William and Vincent were okay. And after seeing them eating their bowls of blueberry mini wheats and looking at her like she was insane, Saphiraph instantly fell flat on her ass on the fifth step of the stairs shaking and crying. "Mommy?!?" They all said at the sametime running over to see if she was alright. Saphiraph held them all very close trying not to ruin their school clothes, "I'm okay my little ones... Mommy just... Had a very bad dream is all. But she's okay now thanks to your hugs and kisses." She watched as they all smiled, hugged and kissed her goodbye as their Aunt Angel took them to school. "Hey sis, you look like shit." Saphiraph mentally killed Angel for the comment, two reasons why she didn't like Angel was because Shadow loved her the way he never loved Saphiraph as she did him. And another because Saphiraph was starting to devolpe feelings for the female, "I feel like it. Becareful of anu busses and watch the ice... Please do that for me..." Angel looked puzzled but smiled soon after, "You can count on me Saph, no worries I'll becareful. See ya later hunny." Saphiraph nodded watching them all leave to Angel's car and out the driveway, with a sigh Saphiraph cleaned the kitchen then made breakfast for Walker and Seth who were still in the guestroom asleep.
She put the food on a tray then headed up the stairs again knocking on the door. Seth was the one who opened it in just his boxers. "H...Hey" She smiled softly at him knowing something would have happened between them. "Made you guys some breakfast." From behind Seth she heard a yawn then a grunt of a good morning to them both. "Hey Mate and Seth." Seth and Saphiraph laughed at Walker saying good morning back. She walked inside as Seth cuddled with Walker again under the covers, Walker blushed and smiled a foxy grin and held Seth gently. Saphiraph didn't have a problem with it at all shockingly, "Here we are boys. Blueberry Mini Wheats, strawberried toast and some home made chocolate milk." Both of the males began to drool. Seth smiled wide, "Thanks ever so much!" "Yeah Mate this looks great!" Saphiraph chuckled at them both and left saying she had somethings to do before work, but she actually called Jay. "Mmm, hello?" She chuckled at how Jay slept through the day so easily but not the night. "Hey Jay. Mind letting me take the day off?" Saphiraph asked as she layed in her bed again. "I guess, why do you want one?" She didn't say anything, just stared at the ceiling. "Wolfy? Hello? What's going on? Love?" Jay asked worry filling his once sleepy voice. Saphiraph smiled a little at the two nicknames Jay had given her years ago. "Just a bad dream... That left me drained." She could hear the frown in his voice as he said, "What was it about?" Even though she was on the phone, Saphiraph shook her head. "I don't want to talk about it." Jay sighed, "Fine. You can have your day off but you WILL tell me. Got it?" Saphiraph smiled a little more, "I know Jay... I know. Thank you." "You're welcome... I love you." She looked to the phone as if he could see her "Love you too... How's Hunter?" Jay laughed, "That boy is passing his classes with flying colors. He said he loves you." "Tell him I love him too, now get your ass up and get him to school!" Jay laughed once again with a smile on his lips she knew he did at how smooth he told her will and said he loved her again then hung up. Saphiraph hung up then let her arm fall out over the bed letting the phone fall from her hand.
"I fucking hate nightmares."
(Not sure if I'm going to add onto it or not. Any suggestions? :3 )
