Gap leaving miles
Sunday, 22 May, 2011.

I stand confuzzled in my head,
when nearing the sight of you.
It's weird, awkward and strange-
and definitely, strangely, it hurts me a lot.
To be standing in front of you
with words left agape: nothing comes out.
What do I say right now;
the tense situation; atmosphere-
please do, do, do say something.
I don't want this gap to
leave miles as time walks down memory.
I tried to be the one for you
but all there's left is an awkward stare-
with nothing but air- air, air, air...
