A+ A- |
A/N: Ok, next chapter ( I know, already !)
This is from a narrator's POV, a bit faster paced than the last:
See what you think
The singer's voice, it has been said,
Could scare an ogre from its bed.
Its warbled, wailing, gargling, screech:
Signalled of course; by parakeets
Rising quickly from the trees;
And various travellers on their knees,
Begging for the noise to stop.
Which it punctually did, at two o'clock.
Every day , come shine or rain,
The dreaded sound, like strangled pain,
Would punctuate the empty wood.
(abandoned for the greater good)
Until one day, (as I mentioned before)
Conforming, to the rules of lore,
A prince came riding on a horse,
Accompanied by his mum (Of course).
"It's great!" he said, "It's perfect, no?"
"The air is clean, the view just so,
It's perfectfor my Castle-o!"
(The Prince you see, thought he was cool;
A by –product of too much school)
The next chapters gonna take a while longer
Although, IF I get five reviews, I'll try this weekend? ( hint hint )
