A Dream over by a Little Too Late

I want to remember the wasted time;
when all I thought about was you and the moments.
When your voice was the replaying radio,
and your expression an inspiration.

Where the mere sound of your name
made my heart skip a fast beat—
and my cheeks a deep cherry red.
And when someone called it; jealous.

And my immediate scenery when I woke up
from the nights and mornings of your absence.
Where your smile got rid of anger—
unhappiness, sorrow and stress.

When your encouragement supersedes;
and made me believe that I could do it.
I wish to reclaim such beautiful moments
and pause them for a lifetime long dream—

But that dream is over by a little too late.
