To Change and Rearrange

Your eyes so caring,
And your words so kind,
My heart can't help,
But skip at your touch.
I longed for your eyes,
To gaze longingly at me,
For your fingers laced,
And lips laid softly upon mine.
Gradually,
Slowly,
Oh how the good times end.
Words so sweet,
And visuals so appealing,
Turned to nothing but lust,
A request so vain.
Once or twice,
Temptation nearly claimed victory.
But I, the strong one,
Said "No more of the
Foolishness! Be gone! I,
I don't need you!"
So there lay the five month tale
Of how one so angelic,
Mutated so vile,
That the only sure,
Was exile.
