IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!

Author's Note: I know the first few chapters are boring and terribly written, but to everyone who is reading this, give it a chance to my latest chapter, The First Bloodshed, before you decide to continue reading it or to drop it. My updating has been terribly inconsistent because I had school and to be honest, I was still developing my writing skills. But in my eyes, my writing style has improved so by the time you get to the most recent chapter, you can tell the writing has changed. So please give it a chance and if you don't like it, feel free to comment and tell me why you don't like it so I can improve my writing. There are 4 major rules to being an angel:

1. Protect the place or person you were assigned to

2. Never harm an innocent being

3. Stay incognito; don't ever let anyone know you're a supernatural being

4. Avoid any contact with Shadow Angels

There are 4 major rules to being a Shadow Angel:

1. Create terror and destruction everywhere you go

2. Never show weakness or sympathy towards others

3. Stay hidden in the shadows; don't allow anyone to know you're not human

4. Capture and destroy any angels you come upon

Rules were meant to be broken, whether they're good or evil.

Angels are meant to use their magical gifts to restore peace and purity to earth. Shadow Angels are meant to use their cruel abilities to feed their hunger of pain and despair with happiness and to see that the world ends in wreckage.

When there is a "newborn" angel, they're fragile and delicate. They're easily tracked down by Shadow Angels, and are usually sucked into an eternity of misery inside of the fallen angel's head. Sometimes they are treated like pets by the enemy since it is easy to get inside a "newborn's" head. And rarely, but it happens, they are tricked into drinking an elixir that kills them for the Shadows wants the "newborn" as one of its own.

As angels age, they gain knowledge and are put into more specific groups/councils. Some are in defense for protecting their lands from the Shadows; some are put into medical, to heal wounded angels. Few are put into more dangerous, secretive groups like spying on the Shadows. Unfortunately, some angels violate the laws and are put to a punishment and never make it to their group. But sometimes the angels who disobey… don't make it back from wherever they were…at all.

Shadowed Angels are born stronger than angels. This is because they are created by death and depression. They were either a human who lived a life of agony and were chosen to be revived to darkness or a captured angel that was favored by the Shadows. They were put into existence so that they got revenge from all the people who live care-free lives while theirs ended in a devastating death. The Shadowed Ones would use their mind tricks and abilities to steal every piece of happiness from a human and leave them emotionless…emo…as good as dead.

Like angels, they are arranged into groups. But with each level, they gain more power and a more painful longing for happiness to fill their empty souls. Average Shadow Angels stop their power at the Dweller Group. The ones that are to be of great value to the Shadows are put into a more superior group like the Masked. The higher level they are the more evil and more invincible they get. However, they still can be turned into angels with a specific potion, but it'll be harder. This is the basic information all angels and Shadow Angels know but ignore. Well here's a bit of advice for them, learn your facts, control your cravings and know your enemies unless you want to end up in a forbidden, impossible love.
