December Moon

Quiet and stealthy

Surveying serene surroundings

Dancing deer

Racing rabbits

Winning the war against winter

Quiet and stealthy

Acting like ghosts

The icy wind blows through us

The snow covered ground

Winter's cruel grip

Our hunting cry breaks the silence

Quiet and stealthy

The frozen forest and frost bitten earth

Dashing through a snow-covered wood

Like soldiers charging into battle

Dreaming of sunny spring days soon to come fireflies and crickets

chirp chirp

Quiet and stealthy

Racing ahead, flash! our quarry frozen in time,

As if by some strange winter magic

Hoping for warmer days, we call out a triumphant Ancient song under a December Moon.

Quiet and stealthy
