She sat forlornly on
the swing filled with power
of reminiscent's silhouette,
her eyes looking up above
towards the ink black sky.
The sheen stars sparkled,
reminding her of the love that
was lost with just a breath.
Serenade sang depressingly
in her lonely-filled heart.
If only the pain would have
invigorated her immediately...
Seemed like sorrow
needed time to heal fully,
and those love-scarred wounds
would take a lifetime
to disappear.
