Melodies stringing in head
Waiting in pregnant pause
The the wave of nothing arrives
Pounding at the door
Footsteps within the corridor
Shouting though the living room
Hungry, tired, elated souls
Food raids, supplys drop
Remotes, homework, stationary
Flying through the air
The murmur of the TV
Hum of the shower
Once more the horde gathers round
Dinner is served
Chatter and clamour
For sustainence
Later that evening
The clatters nearly gone
Left nothing but a whisper
Till the early morn
Where the adventure starts all over again...
