Pity me Not
Pity me not
for a good life I lead.
I live it well.
(I'm not a bad seed)
Though occasionally I have to wonder
how a person can be so nice,
to not out-rightly reject me
but still make my heart splice.
It would have been better,
because I've been through it before,
to have a no and move on
then no either or.
So future loves be warned
I'm a very simple female.
A no or yes (please yes) would suffice
But pity me not, or my heart will fail.
