prologue
The night was quiet.
The full moon rose high in the sky as its rays shown down on the deserted beach.
The water lapped against the shore peacefully and wiped away the footsteps in the sand.
A lone figure stood, unmoving, in the water. The shimmering moonlight reflected off the water onto her wet body as the water rose and fell. The water was acting abnormally, as it came towards her it glowed sightly where it touched her and seemed to not want to follow the lull of the tide.
After several hours of staring at the moon it had finally set.
Although she had been in a sort of trance for most of the night, as the moon set, her eyes seemed to clear and she seemed to be more aware of her surroundings.
She shook for a moment in the cold water before hurrying away the water and setting moon and towards the shore and her home on land.
