A/N: This is the first sequel to my Cain/Cedric Story. I wrote this a year or two ago so it isn't as good as my most recent work but it is decent. Enjoy and maybe I'll write a full fledged story about the twins one day.

Cedric had always thought of him and his brother as two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that fit together perfectly or at least up until recently he had. Things were different now and he could no longer consider them as such but rather two pieces that quite obviously did not go together. It pained him to think that but it was the truth.

The kiss had been the thing that tipped the ice burg. Things had been rocky enough before that but the kiss was what did it for them. Right after it happened his brother went to his room without a word. During the kiss he stood there frozen like an idiot and it was probably what made his brother just walk away. He didn't even call out to Cain but that was probably due to the fact that he had still been rooted to the spot. The next day his brother told him he was going to stay with a friend and that had been almost three weeks ago. The twins hadn't talked once but that was mostly Cain's doing. He had called his friend's house and asked for him but every time he called the man said that Cain was out or made up some other excuse. Cedric knew some of the excuses had to be lies. His brother couldn't be out twenty four/seven.

He really wasn't sure what to think of the kiss. All he knew was that he didn't hate his brother for it but it sure had confused him because every time he had seen Alex in the past three weeks all he could think about was that spark that never been there. He knew he had feelings for Alex. It wasn't love but he did care for him. Whenever they kissed he hadn't really felt what most people called sparks but he had always dismissed that because he didn't understand it, however, when his brother kissed him he felt it. Those sparks had been more then obvious and he finally understood what people meant when they talked about them. It didn't make anything less confusing for him though and without his brother being around so he could talk to him about everything he figured he would be confused for a long time to come.

Cedric sighed in frustration when he got home from one of his many dates with Alex. The date had been nice enough but all he could think about was his brother. Was Cain doing all right? When was he going to come home? Was he still angry with him? All these questions and more were running through his mind but none of them would be answered until he saw his brother again and he had no idea when that might be. He figured he could go to his friends house and try to see him but Cedric was to much of a chicken for that and he wanted to give him space. It was a mixture of both… though mostly because he was to scared to seek Cain out himself.

Reaching down to take his shoes off, he didn't bother to put them away as he shuffled towards the couch, plopping down onto it with another sigh of frustration as he ran a hand through his hair. He needed to sleep. His mind kept racing because of all these thoughts so it was better if he just slept awhile. He knew he still had to shower and finish some homework for his class tomorrow but Cedric was quite willing to put that off for a nap of sorts.

"Tired?"

Cedric let out a gasp when he heard a voice similar to his own, the blond quickly sitting up as he looked around the room for the owner of the voice and it wasn't long before he found it. "Cain what are you doing here?"

"Well last time I checked I did live here with you so that might be a reason…"

"You know what I mean," Cedric grumbled, the male absolutely hating the fact that his brother was trying to make light of this situation which was the worst thing he could do in his opinion.

"I figured it was time to come back."

"You couldn't of called first?"

"I thought it was better to just show up without a phone call. If I called first I was afraid I'd lose my nerve."

"Well I called you, you know. Several times actually."

"I know, Cedric."

"I figured you did," the younger of the twins answered bitterly. "Why didn't you answer the phone then?"

"I don't know. I guess I was scared."

"… and you think I wasn't? I've been scared shitless about what I felt that day when you kissed me but at least I bothered to call!" Cedric snapped, not willing to admit to Cain that he was a bit of a hypocrite since fear was what held him back from going to see him face-to-face.

"Wait… you felt something?"

"Yes," Cedric admitted, a faint blush appearing on his cheeks as he averted his gaze. "I felt something. I'm not sure what to think of it though and if you hadn't of left maybe I still wouldn't be so confused," he added, huffing as he glanced at his brother who was just standing there staring at him. Frowning, he opened his mouth to say something to him but as he went to do that Cain walked up to him and leaned down, looking at him for a moment before he kissed him again and like last time Cedric was startled. However, unlike last time he responded hesitantly, pulling away when his brother's tongue slipped into his mouth.

"Too fast?" Cain inquired.

"No, you just surprised me," Cedric admitted with a sheepish smile as he leaned up to kiss his brother again and while he knew that there was still so much for them to figure out he was willing to ignore that for the time being because he liked kissing his brother that much.
