Cinderella waited for her prince.
One shoe missing. Hobbled.
Her fairy tale globe cracked
but not shattered.
Well. She had her dreams.
I wonder at this poor girl's naivety.
Ugly siblings and step-mother aside -
men do the real damage?
Read the stats little girl:
two killed a week by partners or exes
and all you have of him is dances.
Didn't daddy tell you?
Better the devil you know.
