a/n: a small pillowbook i have begun to compile. this is the first chapter, which contains only haiku's, but other forms of poetry will be used. since it will only contain poetry, i have placed it under the poetry section.
the world is a melodic hum
[ —our life is a story. or is our story a life? ]
::
hands grab at wet hair
glass slipping away from warmth
rain tears fragile odes
::
withered tales of old
sings Gaea in despair, while
sky is still untouched
::
air parts in two hymns
balancing a mutual feel
Castor and Pollux
::
.
::
i write these poems
to free myself from this world
that says i'm worthless
[ —i'll prove them wrong ]
::
.
::
thoughts are real, they
are ladies, leaders, and birds
that through time soar free
::
.
::
our life is a tale
but which god is the author?
i know it's my mind
::
.
::
i like to express
my spirit of a queen, but
i am "just a girl"
::
.
::
i struggle to paint
an image with words that smells
of true elegance
