Shadows
We stand back to back,
Twins inseparable and bound.
One easy to track,
The other stalks without a sound.
We move as one-
A creature of light and dark.
Where one considers a task is done,
The other hasn't left a mark.
One a creator of motion,
The other can only follow.
Funny whenever you want to move in caution,
You always just at the sight of your own shadow.
