Plundering the Midnight Oil

Plundering the midnight oil,

My mind buckles under the toil

Of searching through the annals

Of the universe's greatest mysteries.

I seek the knowledge of man, damned mortals,

The reaper's skull chortles,

Knowing full well that I will die

Having learned nothing but that time flies.
