Time is of the essence

Though the essence may waver

Depending on the placement

Prevailed is the essence of the living

Time can fade that essence

Until the heart struggles to live

And the dirt fills our mouths

As we take a last gasp under the ground

And light pierces the shadows in our soul

Blinding the shadows

And forever quelling our lingering impurities

So we take hold of the essence of death

And let our translucent souls loose themselves in the clouds

Fading with the vapours

The sun's rays kiss our pure souls

And peace can finally be touched

And a smile blooms within what is left of us
