Senses of Sadness.

I hear the buzzing of a city,

Behind the blasting of depressing music.

I see city full of life,

Behind the curtains of sadness.

I sense the breeze on my face,

Behind the shield that hides me.

I feel the flowers in my hands,

Behind the gloves that protect them.

I hear the laughter of children,

Behind the cry's of teens.

I see happy people,

Behind masks of stress and sadness.

I sense happiness,

Behind the sadness.

I feel a soothing touch,

Behind the painful world.
