Walking in the meadows
Kicking up the flower blossoms
Their smell sweeter than perfume
Passing the river I spot wild fish dancing a tango
The gushing water like a song from a Hummingbird's voice
A bumble bee bumbling along to collect a clover of nectar
I pick up a buttercup and weave it in my long hair
Dazed I spread myself in the long grass and wait
Closing my eyes and the sun rains down on me
The warmth spreading across me like wildfire
A butterfly flutters by and lands delicately on a blade of grass
Nature whispers summer's story in the light breeze dancing around me
A noise breaks my thoughts and I open my eyes to see him
He wraps me in his arms and grazes me passionately…
