Author's Note: Alright, let's do this. Mach 7 Adventures is finished, and it's time to move onto the next collection of adventures. Don't get me wrong here, this'll probably suck, quite a bit might I add, simply from observation of how few reviews I got on the previous story. Why am I still writing, you ask? Because, if I don't finish what I started, I will never rest soundly knowing that I ended with a cliffhanger. That, and the fact that I have spent years planning this, and I am still relatively unsure about the methods I use to go about writing these things. So really, I suppose this entire series is more of a test of my creativity(or lack thereof in some cases *coughStoryArc2Part1cough*) rather than a professional story. For anyone who has put up with this crap for so long, thanks a ton for reading, and thanks a ton more for actually putting up with this. Please note that a few unexplained occurrences in this one will be later explained in Mach 7 Chronicles, so for now, just use your imagination...please?
I do not own DragonBall/Z, Lucky*Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, Soul Eater, or any other official media that may appear in this story. If you dislike stories containing crossovers like this, please leave now. For any of you sticking around, thanks again, and get ready for more action and more mind-f*cks than ever before...
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Episode 1: One Year Later; Wait, Something Changed...
/-/-/-/-/-/
Have you ever realized just how much of an understatement something can be? Because it will be made obvious very soon just what an understatement the title is.
One year had passed since David sacrificed his remaining life-force to save Chrissy, and the girl was curled up on her bed, eyes desperately watching the clock. In one year, her hair had grown out, reaching her upper-mid back. She had developed into a modern young woman, and as she kept her eyes on the digital number, she gulped, wondering only one thing; What would David think of her?
In the one year timespan, they had met quite a few peculiar faces. Yet another understatement.
First, there was the Namekian, Piccolo. He was apparently guardian of these orbs called 'DragonBalls'(cue Chad snickering), and had fused with the guardian of a planet called Earth, named Kami. There was the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta, who constantly just stood by the sidelines unless provoked to fight. There was Muten Roshi, who was, in a simple way of putting it, a total pervert. Chrissy shook her head at the thought of him being a martial arts master.
These three were but a few of the faces that they had met.
There was the pair of students, Konata Izumi and Kagami Hiiragi, who appeared at first sight to be best friends, when in reality, they were more yin-yang than Nick and Chad. They were searching for their friends and family, and yet, nobody had found a trace of anyone who may have been from their world.
Then, there were the Meisters and Weapons of Shibusen. There were so many attending that school, and to find that Death himself was the headmaster was nothing short of shocking. The meisters and weapons were usually paired up boy-girl, such as the Scythe-Meister and Weapon, Maka Albarn and Soul 'Eater' Evans, however, there were some exceptions; Kim and Jacqueline, her chain-weapon, being an example.
Then, there were those two hedgehogs that had shown up out of the blue; Sonic and Shadow. If Konata and Kagami hadn't already been with them, those two would've taken the spot of yin and yang. Sonic was laid-back, and being on a totally different world didn't seem to bother him that much. Shadow, on the other hand, seemed determined to get off of this planet as soon as he could, even though he didn't show it that often.
Then there was that girl.
Brown hair tied in a ponytail, big green eyes, and fox ears and tail. They had come across her in the city not five months ago, and it was made obvious that she was a Shadow Creature when she tripped and fell, a small amount of blue blood seeping from the cut. And to think, the one person to teach Nick true responsibility was a five-year old girl.
Yes, things were beginning to become more hectic than ever.
Chrissy continued to stare as the clock read that it was half-past midnight. Today was supposed to be the day. Konata, Maka, and Sonic had been called to some place called Supreme Kai Planet by a man named King Kai, and would be coming back this morning.
And with them, David would be wished back to life using the DragonBalls.
Chrissy just couldn't sleep. The only reason she was still alive, looking at this digital reading, was because of David, because that idiot that she loved so dearly had to go and throw his life away for her. She knew she ought to be well rested, she knew she ought to sleep, to dream of what their reunion would be like.
But she just couldn't.
If she dreamed of their reconciliation, and it turned out worse that the dream, Chrissy might just snap; she wanted everything to be perfect for when David came home, but she knew that if her expectations were brought up, then smashed back down, she wouldn't be able to handle it. The way she saw it, David deserved to have a perfect reunion with his homeland.
Chrissy continued to stare blankly, and sighed, standing up and stretching. She yawned a bit, making her way through the dark house. She made it to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, nearly jumping at what she saw; her hair was a mess, there were a few dark circles under her eyes, and she just couldn't find the strength to smile.
Another yawn. "Maybe...a shower will help..." She groaned drearily, removing her nightgown and entering the shower. She stood there, letting the water wash over her, calming her wracked nerves. After about ten minutes, she shut the water off and stepped out, wrapping a towel around herself and another around her hair as she picked up her gown and made her way to her room.
Another half an hour, and she was laying down, staring at the ceiling. It may have been a trick of the lights from outside her window, or she may have been sleepier than she thought, but somehow, right before sleep overcame her, she could have sworn that she saw David, smiling at her once more...

Platnum awoke from his slumber, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He looked to his window, noticing that the sun still wasn't up, rendering it completely dark, save for a few street lights. The wolf sighed and lay back down, only to bolt back into a sitting position. "That Battle Power-!" He shot out from under the covers, slipped on his boots, and dashed out of his apartment's fire-escape exit. He leaned against the railing, looking around in a panic for the source. "A Battle Power of...of one hundred thousand..." He gulped. "Who is this...I've never felt a power like this before..." Suddenly, his PDA went off, and Platnum nearly fell from the fire-escape. He picked it up, and the caller ID read that it was coming from Nick's house. "Hello?"
"Hey, Platnum!" Nick greeted. "Look, I know it's late, but I think you ought to get over here. I can't explain right now, but something's come up on the radar. Something strong!"
"I know, I was woken up by it when I sensed it's Battle Power!"
"Alright then. Can you get hear as soon as possible?" Nick asked.
"Sure thing, I'll be right there!" Platnum hung up, and made a beeline for the fire-escape's ladder.
/-/-/-/-/-/
"Hm? Whereya go'n' Onii-chan?" The five-year old asked, having been awoken by Nick's constant scrambling. "Izzit mornin' already?"
"No, not yet, Arita." Nick shook his head, scrambling to get everything together. "I just have to go down to HQ for a little to check on something. You stay here with Sprittez, Jack, Remilia, and Dan, okay?"
The girl groaned, attempting to follow her brother. "Nuuuu~ I wanna go with you." She yawned, and Nick picked her back up and placed her in her bed. "Nuuu-uuu~! Wanna help~!"
Nick sighed and pulled the covers back up over the toddler. "Arita, you're not even fully awake, let alone dressed to travel, and I have to leave, like, right now. Just stay here and I'll..." He let out an irritated sigh. "I'll...take you to the amusement park..."
"Really~?" Arita made an enthusiastic yawn. "YAAAaaaaaaaaayy~..." The girl finally fell asleep as she finished her cheer.
Nick tucked her in, planted a small kiss on her forehead, and dashed out of the room and out the front door. It took less than a minute to reach the base; his training with that Piccolo guy was paying off! He slowed as he entered the HQ, and set his pack down on the table, taking everything out to get ready.
"N-Nick? Is th-that you?" The Shadow turned around, getting ready to summon his sword, before he recognized the messy pink-haired head that was looking at him with big, navy-blue eyes.
The boy let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah, it's me, Crona." He waved for the timid sword-meister to come over to him, and Crona nervously stepped towards him. "So, what're you doing here at HQ so late at night?"
"I-I was j-j-just taking a...a walk." Crona replied, gripping his right arm. Nobody knew for sure what gender Crona was, but they all referred to the teenager as a boy, and Crona had yet to place an argument; however, this was probably since he was too afraid to deny anybody's opinions. "A-And I s-saw you entering the b-base, s-so I followed. S-Sorry."
Nick nodded, smiling a bit. "Don't worry, nothing to be sorry about. Besides, me and Platnum could use your help with something."
"O-Oh. Okay."
"You see, something came up on the radars, and we were going to investigate." Nick explained. "It's extremely strong, so you'll have to stay on your toes if you decide to come with us."
"Tch. You expect some poseur to be a match for us ? !"
SPLORTCH!
From Crona's back erupted a small black-and-white creature, with big, bulbous eyes with pupils that looked like 'X's, and white gloves on his orb-shaped hands. "We can take on any jackass that tries to kill us! What's the idiot's Battle Power, anyways?"
Nick looked down at him PDA for a moment, then back up at the creature, Ragnarok. "Battle Power of one hundred thousand."
The room was silent for a moment, before Crona spoke up. "U-Um, R-Ragnarok? Isn't our B-Battle Power only twenty-thousand? And that was only after training here with Picco-"
"AAAAAAGH!" The blob screamed, zipped back into Crona's spine for about thirty seconds, before resurfacing, holding his head. "OKAY-Okay-okay..." He breathed. "I'm okay. I'm good."
"...What was that about?" Nick asked, and Crona froze as Ragnarok mentally told him, 'You tell him and I'll rip your hair out.'.
Crona simply shrugged, and when Nick turned, muttered something about not knowing how to deal with being bald.
A few minutes passed, and Platnum dashed into the room. "Alright, I'm here." He approached Nick. "So, what's the plan?"
"Well, the three of us-" Nick motioned to himself, Crona, and Platnum. "-are gonna do some investigating at the location of that power source." He explained. "I can't tell if it's friend or foe, so until we get a good idea of who it is, we'll have to be careful and suppress our Battle Powers, on the off-chance that whoever it is can sense our powers."
Platnum nodded. "What'll we tell the others, though? It's almost morning, and Konata, Sonic, and Maka were scheduled to get here early." He asked. "Not to mention we need to wish David back with the DragonBalls."
"That all depends. If the source is just one of our friends training, then there's nothing to worry about. But if it's a new enemy..." Nick placed a hand to his chin. "Well, our combined Battle Powers should be enough to take on a one hundred thousand, so there's nothing to really worry about."
"If you say so..." Platnum rolled his eyes. "So, are we all ready to go?" The other two nodded, and Platnum turned towards the door. "Alright, then! Then go check this out."
The trio dashed out of the HQ, following the reading on the radar. It led them out of the village, into the forest surrounding them. After about ten minutes of non-stop running, Ragnarok began to complain. "Are we there yet?"
"No."
"Now?"
"No."
"Now?"
"No!"
This continued for about five minutes, until they exited the forest and into a wasteland. "Are we there no-"
"SHUT UP!" Nick snapped, dangerously close to throttling the blob. He probably would have done it sooner, too, if not for the fact that he and Crona were connected. "WE'LL GET THERE WHEN WE FREAKING GET THERE!" Suddenly, the radar began to beep wildly, and Nick snapped his head around to look at it. "It's moving this way!"
"Can you sense who it is?" Platnum asked, looking around for the source.
"No, but whoever it is, they're giving off a huge Madness Wavelength..." Nick gulped, watching the object soar closer. "...Whew, it stopped..." He breathed a sigh of relief. The three continued walking, eventually coming to a cliff. "...Down there." Nick pointed. "That's what's causing this reading..."
Down in the gorge was a man with spiky purple hair and pale skin. He wore dark purple armor, and even from afar, they could see his shining green eyes. "Who is that? To have a Battle Power of one hundred thousand..." Platnum gulped.
Suddenly, the man turned to them, smirking, and before they could react, he appeared directly in front of them. The three could only stare in terror as his Battle Power overwhelmed them. "...Do you three have business with me?"
The three simply stared, and after a moment, Nick cleared his throat. "N-No, don't mind us, just, um, p-passing through." He stuttered nervously.
The man didn't seem to buy this. "You're a Shadow Creature, aren't you?" Nick stared in shock; the only person who had ever been able to tell that he was a Shadow was Eddie, and that was because he had the Shadow Eyes. "And you two..." He turned to Platnum and Crona. "You're not of this world, are you?"
"Wh-Who are y-you..." Crona gulped, shaking in fright.
The man's smirk widened. "I'm your worst nightmare."
And in an instant, he reappeared right in front of the Demon-Swordsman, kneeing him in the stomach. Crona fell over, gripping his stomach tightly and crying out in pain. The man turned to the other two, and Ragnarok materialized out of Crona's back. "Get up, you pansy! Come on, tough it out!" He ordered, pounding his rounded fists on the mess of pink locks.
"Now then, what to do about you two..." The man raised a hand to his chin. "What to do..." Suddenly, before he could react, the man felt a fist connect with his face. He stood his ground however, and Nick, who had thrown the punch, growled as his fist barely caused the man to flinch. "...That stung a little."
BAM!
"But only a little." The man had slammed his own fist into Nick's forehead, sending the boy to his knees, and in seconds, he was on the ground, barely conscious. The stranger turned to Platnum, and the timber wolf gulped, taking a nervous stance. "Now then...how would you like to die?" Platnum morphed his had into a sword, and the man stared in amusement. "My, you three certainly are special, aren't you? A Shadow, the Demon-Sword, and a wolf with a sword-hand." He took a step closer. "I wonder...What would a chorus of three screams sound like?"
"I'M BACK!"
CRAK!
The man let out a cry of surprise as a small ball of energy hit his back, stunning him for a moment. Behind him, Nick and Crona stood up, shakily, and reappeared next to Platnum. "Crona, Nick, you guys okay?" The wolf asked.
Nick nodded, and drew his sword. "Get ready, you guys." He instructed. "Whatever this guy is, he's not to be laughed at."
The stranger glared at the three, before smirking once more. "Alright then...let's finish this like adults, shall we?"

Sprittez woke up, shifting around on her bed to get a good look at her clock, which read that it was just past five in the morning. She groggily sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and throwing the covers off of her legs. She slipped off her nightgown and into her usual clothes before heading into the room down the hall to wake Daniel up. The boy groaned a response, sitting up slowly, yawning.
Next, Sprittez began to descend down the stairs, before noticing that the kitchen was devoid of any sounds or smells. Nick was usually the first up, even at this hour, and the first thing he did was make some form of a meal for his family. This morning, however, the kitchen was empty, and Sprittez silently went back up the stairs, heading for Nick's room; he usually set his alarm for four in the morning, and only stayed in bed if he was sick.
The kingfisher opened the door, only to see that the bed was hastily made and the shades were drawn. She shut the door behind her, about to go downstairs and get breakfast going, before a choking noise sounded from the room on the left side of the hall; Arita's room.
Sprittez opened the door quietly, turning to look at the small bed that the girl slept in. The five-year-old was sobbing in her sleep, and she constantly twisted around, getting caught in her bedsheets. Sprittez immediately made her way to the bed, shaking the girl awake.
As Arita finally snapped to her senses, she threw her arms around Sprittez's neck, crying into her feathers. "Arita, Arita, what's wrong?" Sprittez asked, worried. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"
The girl shook her head, but the tears continued to spill from her emerald green eyes. "I-I had a n-n-nightmare!" She sobbed. "I-I dreamed that O-Onii-chan a-and P-Platnum and Crona all g-got h-hurt by some big guy!" Sprittez held the girl close, trying to console her. "It was s-scary! A-And, they got h-hurt r-real bad! And P-Platnum wasn't m-moving! A-And-!"
The kingfisher placed a finger to the girl's lips, rocking her in her arms a little. She reached to the nightstand and grabbed a couple of tissues, holding them to the brunette's nose. "Blow." She instructed, and Arita obeyed, puffing out her cheeks. "It's alright, Arita, you just had a bad dream is all." Sprittez comforted her. "Now, get dressed. I'm going downstairs to make some breakfast, okay?"
The child nodded, climbing down to the floor and to her dresser as Sprittez left the room.

The team had gathered at Kami's Lookout, a tower which stretched for miles above the planet earth's surface. They all waited patiently for the temple's doors to open, for the opportunity to finally see their friends after so long.
Eventually, their patience was rewarded, and the doors slid open, allowing the group to step into the light. Friends reunited, rejoicing that they were finally together again. However, the reunion was short-lived as everyone finally realized that they were short three people...
"...Where's Crona?" Maka asked, looking around for the messy pink hair.
"That's weird, Platnum and Nick are missing, too..." Zero placed a hand to his chin. "Does anybody know where they are?"
The group remained silent, until Arita spoke up. "Onii-chan said he was going to go investigate a Battle Power he sensed...but that was early..."
Sprittez tensed up, remembering Arita's nightmare from earlier this morning, and gulped, tempted to pick up her PDA and call one of the three.
Suddenly, the group turned towards the edge of Kami's Lookout, staring in shock; Nick and Crona were carrying a beaten and bruised Platnum, having trouble due to also being hurt.
The next few minutes were chaos as everyone tried to find out what happened. Platnum remained unconscious, and Sprittez ordered them to get him inside, and Crona was wheezing and clutching his chest, which looked as though something had left a dent.
"Onii-chan!" Arita cried in fear, running to her older brother. "What happened ? ! Are you three alright ? !" She cried, tears beginning to well in her eyes.
Nick tried to stand, but fell back to his knees, breathing heavily. "Don't worry about me...Platnum's got it worse than me and Crona, go help him!"
"But-!"
"I said go help him!" Nick ordered, attempting to stand. "S-See? I can stand, I'm fine!" He grunted, pain erupting in his legs. Arita hesitantly left, following Zero and Chad, who had brought Platnum into the temple.
"What happened to you guys?" Kagami asked, worried.
"Yeah, you look like you were eaten by a dragon, then spit back out!" Konata added, and the taller girl glanced at her sideways, sighing in exasperation.
Crona breathed heavily, muttering something under his breath that no one could understand; everyone guessed it consisted of not knowing how to deal with something.
Nick grunted a bit, straightening his back and hearing the bones pop into place. "Well..."
And so, Nick told of how they ran into the strange man, Frenzie, and how they all had been beaten almost instantly; quite a few times, Crona jolted, no doubt terrified by the memory of what happened. By the time the Shadow finished explaining, everyone was in shock.
"And that's not all..." Nick muttered. "He's able to sense Shadow Creatures..."
The entire group simply stared in shock at this, unable to believe what they'd just been told. "But wouldn't that mean he has to be a Shadow Creature, too?" Chad gulped, placing a hand over his mouth, trying to contain a growl. "A-And, I thought the evil ones were all wiped out when we nuked the Shadow Palace..."
"I don't know for sure..." Nick crossed his arms. "But whatever he is, he's got a Battle Power of one hundred thousand, he can sense Shadows, and he pretty much beat the crap out of me, Crona, and Platnum, all combined, without breaking a sweat."
Suddenly, Black*Star pointed upwards. "Alright then! Where is this guy? I, the man who shall transcend the gods, will make him pay for attacking my friends!" He declared, puffing his chest out proudly.
Maka simply growled softly, glaring at the light-blue-haired assassin. "Black*Star, for once in your life, think before running off!" She lectured. "You've seen what he did to Nick, Crona, and even Platnum! What makes you think you could beat him all by yourself?"
"Maka, wait, he might be onto something!" Nick held his hand up. "Yes, it's true that Frenzie's Battle Power is one hundred thousand, but Black*Star might actually stand a chance." He explained. "He may be suppressing his Battle Power right now, but—You know what? Black*Star, would you be so kind as to show us your Battle Power?"
Almost immediately, the assassin smirked confidently and placed his arms at his sides, clenching his fists as a powerful aura began to envelope him. In seconds, he brought his arms down, and almost everyone stared in surprise.
"A Battle Power that large..." Even Konata gulped a bit; she knew he'd been training, just like everyone else, but even the blue-haired otaku hadn't expected this.
Vegeta, who was resting against a nearby tree, glared at the ninja in surprise. "His Power Level is over...fifty thousand(1)..." He smirked, looking away. "Not bad for a runt." His comment had caught a few people's attention, and Zero pointed at the Saiyan Prince.
"Hey, why don't we just send Vegeta or Piccolo or even Krillin to fight this guy?" He asked, a sweat droplet appearing on his head. "Their Battle Powers are all in the millions, so-"
"Did you forget that Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo are all bound to Kami's Lookout due to the different world properties?" Nick snickered. "They can't help us even if they wanted to. And I get the distinct feeling Vegeta doesn't want to." He glanced at said warrior. "The only time they can actually leave is when they help us train, and that's only because of the Chaos Wavelength from the base." He explained. "They can't get any farther than the village's boundaries."
"So, wait, let me get this straight." Shadow stared at the Shadow Creature, a bored expression on his face. "The fate of possibly a whole planet is in the hands of this-"-he pointed to Black*Star-"-incompetent?"
"Not entirely." Nick shook his head. "Our three strongest fighters here that can leave are Black*Star, Konata, and Chad." He explained. "Their combined Battle Powers all add up to roughly one hundred and fifty thousand. Yes, it's a bit of a stretch, considering it's only fifty points higher than Frenzie, but if you all attack as one, you might actually beat him before he does any serious damage." He spoke to the three.
"And we all can't go becaaaauusse..." Kagami waved her hand, motioning for the Shadow Creature to explain.
"Well, Crona and I got pretty banged up when we fought him, Platnum is currently comatose, some of us have to stay here and help him, someone has to find out where the frick we put the DragonBalls, and at least one of us has to actually wish David back." Kagami opened her mouth to ask another question. "And no, we can't just wish David back so he can take care of this. Not only is it a jerkass thing to do, but considering we have to find out where the DragonBalls were hidden, not to mention he has to make his way from Supreme Kai's Planet to here, it'd take way too long."
"Alright then!" Konata smirked, pumping a fist into the air. "We'll go and take care of this Frenzie guy! Right, you two?" She turned to Chad and Black*Star. The two nodded, and Konata dashed off towards the temple-like structure. "We'll seeya in a bit, guys!"
/-/-/-/-/-/
"Y'know, in hindsight..." Chad muttered. "It'd be better if we actually knew where this guy was." He sighed. "He's not showing up anywhere on the radar, and I can't sense his Battle Power."
"Then let's just keep running around till we find him!" Konata snickered, looking down at the streets below as she and her teammates flew above the city, trying to scope out the man responsible for attacking their friends. "We're sure to find him eventually!"
Minutes passed and became hours, and the three still had no luck at finding Frenzie.
"Dammit, where is this jackass?" Black*Star growled, beginning to get impatient. In all honesty, Chad was surprised that the assassin had lasted as long as he did without complaining.
"Hey, hold on a sec!" Chad cried out, stopping them all in midair. "...I'm sensing a Battle Power coming this way..."
"Finally!" The blue-haired fighters said in unison, looking around for the source. They searched the ground below, looking for the man that was supposedly coming to attack them.
Mere seconds passed before all hell broke loose.
The three were on the ground now, groaning as they tried to stand. "Agh...what the hell happened?" Konata muttered, wobbling a bit as she stood. "Ow, it feels like I got Kagamin-punched!" She whined as she nursed the bump on her head.
The group suddenly realized that the Battle Power was now directly above them, and looked up, just as Frenzie floated to the ground. "So, you three were sent here to defeat me, am I right?" He smirked, and the three got into stance, ready to fight.
"Give it up, Frenzie!" Konata snickered. "Our combined Power Level is a'hundred and fifty grand, there's no way you could beat us!"
Frenzie seemed to observe the group for a moment, before his smirk grew. "A member of the Star Clan, the Guardian of the Rings, and the Legendary Girl A...This may actually be a challenge!"
"Legendary Girl A?" Chad raised an eyebrow. "Konata, what's Frenzie talking about? I thought people on your planet didn't have any super-special powers naturally..."
"They don't." Konata replied, her smirk vanishing. "But...where have I heard that term before?"
While the blunette was wondering this, Frenzie took advantage of her dropped guard and lashed out, smashing his fist into the side of Konata's face and sending the small girl flying. "KONATA!" Black*Star and Chad cried out in unison. The girl in question lay still for a moment, before slowly sitting up, groaning.
"Konata, you okay?" Chad asked, voice unwavering, yet still laced with a bit of concern.
"Y-Yeah...I'm fine..." Konata nodded, tilting her head to the side, hearing her neck crick into place. "AGH...ah, that's gonna be sore in the morning..." She muttered as she got back into stance.
"Oh, trust me, your neck will be the least of your worries, girl!" Frenzie cackled, raising his hands to his sides.
"...Okay, y'know, that could be perceived as wrong on so many levels-" Chad started, not noticing the energy collecting in the man's fists- "-it's not even that funny—OH HOLY SHIT MOVE!" He screamed, leaping to the side as the beam soared past them all.
The bright-purple beam collided with a nearby plateau, and the tall structure burst into fragments and rubble. The three shock-stricken fighters looked from the pseudo-plateau, to each other, then to Frenzie. The man simply smirked, crossing his arms. "Oh, come now. This can't be all you have in you!"
"Of course it ain't!" Black*Star snarled, jumping back to his feet. "I'm the man who'll surpass the gods, there's no way I'm losing to a fag like you!"
"Okay, Black*Star." Konata spoke up, a look of annoyance on her face. "I'm rude sometimes, Chad is ruder sometimes, and you're the rudest. But that comment was too rude!"
"What?" The assassin turned to look at the girl. "I was calling him a freaky alien genotype!"
"...Oh." The blunette chuckled nervously, a sweat droplet appearing on her head. "My bad then."
"What'd ya think he meant?" Chad asked, averting his gaze from Frenzie for a moment.
"I thought he meant a derogatory term for a homosexual." Konata replied, shrugging. "My bad!"
"Ah, I see." Chad nodded, understanding the mistake.
Black*Star shrugged as well, and the three ignored the obviously pissed off look Frenzie was shooting them, which was more of an 'I-hate-you-all' look. "Yeah, I guess that was partly my fault—AGH!" He cried out as Frenzie slammed him upside the head with his fist, sending him flying backwards.
"STOP IGNORING ME!"

"Finally, we found these goddamn things..." Nick muttered, holding up a few of the DragonBalls. They had hidden the orbs in different places, to ensure that if anyone tried to steal them, they'd have a hard time finding them. "Alright, time to wish back our friend!" He turned to Chrissy. "Chrissy, would you like to do the honors?"
The redhead stared for a moment, before nodding, a determined look on her face. Once all seven of the spheres were grouped together, Chrissy gulped, hoping that this would work. She raised her arms up and shouted, "Rise, eternal dragon Shenron, and grant our wish!" Seconds passed, and Chrissy lowered her arms, staring intensely at the balls. "...Um...so what no-"
BSHOOM!
From the orbs, a light burst, warping this way and that, as if forming a giant snake, and in seconds, there floated possibly the biggest dragon any of them had ever seen. "That..." Kagami gulped, eyes wide. "...That is much different than your average fairy tale dragon..."
"You who have gathered the DragonBalls," Shenron boomed, mouth unmoving. "what is your wish? I shall grant only one."
Everyone could only stare in shock at the size of the dragon, and Vegeta growled a little. "Hurry up and wish this kid back, dammit!"
"What is your wish? DO YOU NOT HAVE ONE?" The dragon roared, as if he was threatening them.
This was enough to snap Chrissy out of her stupor, and she clenched her fists, nodding furiously. "Y-YES! Shenron, we wish for our friend Haisan Dabide to be brought back to life!"
The dragon floated silently for a moment, before nodding slightly. "Very well. That wish shall be easy to grant." His red eyes began to glow, and the group waited for Shenron's next action. "It is done." He confirmed, and began to rise. "Now, farewell!"
"Wait, Shenron!" Chrissy shouted. "Can you please tell us how our friends are doing? They're fighting some guy called Frenzie, and we're a bit worried."
The dragon's eyes glowed again, and after a moment, he spoke. "I can sense one Power Level on the battlefield."
"Can you tell us who it is?" Nick gulped, knowing that at least three people were either hurt or dead.
"I am a miracle worker, not a sports announcer." Shenron growled a little, before disappearing in a flash of light. The DragonBalls rose up as well, swirling around the one in the center, before they all dispersed, flying to the far corners of the world.
"So, who do you think it was?" Kagami asked, clearly worried about their friends.
Nick sighed, lowering his head. "...This is bad..."
Zero growled, not liking the heavy atmosphere that had settled. "Hey, come on, stop with the looks!" He pumped a fist into the air. "Chad, Black*Star, and Konata still have another chance, since they haven't been wished back before! We just have to wait another year, and boom! They're back!"
"That's not what I'm worried about..." Nick placed a hand to his chin. "King Kai said that Donec was still alive somewhere, so if everyone here dies at some point or another, then get wished back, they can't come back if they're killed by Donec."
"O-oh...right..." Zero chuckled nervously. "Forgot about him..."
"Come on, let's go help them!" Maka growled a bit. "Even if Frenzie is dead, that means that two of our friends are either dead, or are dying!"
Nick nodded. "Right, we should head there as fast as we can." As the group ran towards the temple, he gulped. "I just hope we're not too late..."

Chad grunted as he sat up, looking around the wasteland. Frenzie lay a few yards away, unmoving, and Konata was just getting up as well. Black*Star was kneeling, holding his arm. As Chad limped closer, he could have sworn he saw a slight lump on the assassin's arm. "Hey, Black*Star." He grunted, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder to keep them both steady. "You okay?"
The assassin scoffed, smirking at Chad. "Whaddya think? I'm the man who'll surpass God, a broken arm isn't something that I'll let stop me!" Chad couldn't help but sigh at his friend's thick-headed-ness. "What about Konata, is she still alive?"
"Yep, I'm good." The blunette grinned, her mouth resembling a cat's. She winced as she stood, and Chad took note of a bloodstain on the leg of the orange gi she'd been given by Goku. "I'll be fine..."
"You sure?" Chad asked. "That looks like a pretty bad wound on your leg, we oughta get you back to base!"
"I told you, I'm fine!" The girl smiled, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a choco-cornet, which was slightly squished. "I just need to sit down and rest for a sec..." She muttered as she bit into the treat.
"Hey! You guys alright?" They all looked up to see their friends approaching, worried looks on their faces. Kagami landed first, a few feet away from Konata, and ran the rest of the way, noticing the blood on her leg. "Konata, is your leg okay?"
"Yep!" The small girl grinned, standing up. As soon as her bleeding leg touched the ground, she winced, trying to maintain her calm face. "J-Just a bit sore, is all!"
"Here, let me look at it." Kagami reached down to try and lift her pants leg, but Konata jumped back, letting out a cry of pain as he bad leg landed first. The blunette landed on her bottom, a smile reappearing on her face, albeit a forced one.
"No! No need, Kagamin~!" She protested, although the twin-tailed girl could clearly see tears of pain in the corners of her eyes. "I just need to lay down and I'll be fine!"
Kagami stared for a moment, before turning around. "Maka? Could you come over here for a sec?" She called, and the scythe meister approached. "Could you please hold Konata down?"
"Wait wha—N-NO! LEMME GO, LEMME GO!" The blunette cried out as Maka forced her into a full-nelson. "DAMMIT MAKA! TRAITOR!"
Kagami managed to hold down Konata's one kicking leg; the other sat limp on the ground. As she rolled up the orange fabric, she placed a hand to her mouth in shock, and as soon as Maka saw it, she almost let go of the fidgeting girl.
"DAMMIT, KONATA! You're freaking leg is broken!" Kagami yelled, pointing at said appendage. The bone was sticking out of the front, and the more Konata squirmed, the more it bled. "Stop moving, you're making it worse, you idiot!"
Konata stopped, catching sight of the bone, and the girl froze, paling slightly. "...Damn..." She muttered, a nervous chuckle escaping her lips. "Th-That's bad, isn't it?"
"Hold still." Kagami commanded, dashing over to the rest of the group. She returned with a first-aid kit, and Chad and Black*Star followed. The older girl shivered a bit, for once scared of her friends.
"U-um, Kagami? Why-why are they here?" Her fear only increased as Chad grabbed one arm, Maka grabbed the other, and Black*Star held onto her good leg. Kagami had wrapped a piece of fabric around Konata's upper leg, and Konata gulped. "Wh-What's that stuff for?"
"Ready?" Kagami asked, more to the other three than to Konata. "On three. One."
"K-Kagami, it's really no big deal!" Konata pleaded, panic causing her to shake in terror.
"Two."
"Please, guys, don't let her do this!" Konata looked around, eyes begging for them to let her go.
"THREE!"
"YOU ALL SU—AAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

The group had returned to Kami's Lookout, and Konata had been cursing the whole way; she even used words that nobody knew were in her vocabulary. As they were flying over one of the cities, Kagami was worried that Konata had been loud enough to alert the police. "That's the last thing we need, a ticket for disturbing the peace!"
"-SO THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO $#% SIDEWAYS!" Konata finally finished her rant as they arrived at Kami's Lookout. "GODDAMMIT KAGAMI THAT HURT!" She cried, holding her leg as close to her as possible; Kagami had, rather roughly, reinserted the bone, and it hurt like HELL. "CAN'T YOU BE MORE GENTLE ? !"
"Oh, I'm sorry." Kagami rolled her eyes. "Next time I'll just carry you to Kami's Lookout with a bone sticking out of your leg, and you'll bleed to death halfway there!"
This shut Konata up, however the girl did mutter something about yuri, a dream, and frogs(2).
Kagami heard it, and glared at her. "What was that?"
The blunette raised her hands in defense, panicking. "Nah-nah-NOTHING! Nothing, nope, I didn't say any-" Kagami's glare softened, and Konata knew that she had gotten so annoyed that she'd simply gone full-circle. "Okay okay Tsukasa told me about you muttering something when you woke up after falling asleep during a study session and I promised I wouldn't tell I'm sorry." She jolted in one breath, and hopped away on one foot as fast as she could, knowing full well the hell she'd just unleashed.
Kagami looked about ready to explode, and if you looked close enough, you could see the vein popping on her head. "Tsukasa told you, then?" She was smiling, but each word she spoke dripped with pure venom. "I see. Nick-" Said Shadow Creature jolted, afraid of what the twin-tailed girl wanted. "-you still haven't managed to find Tsukasa, or anyone else from our world, have you?"
"Uh, no, we haven't." Nick shook his head. "W-Why?"
Kagami grabbed him by the shoulders, and the boy cried out in pain as he felt his arms beginning to lose circulation. "For my sister's sake, it'd be best if you never found her." Nick nodded, crying out in surprise as Kagami tossed him away from her and grabbed Konata by the collar(the shorter girl practically begging for mercy all the while).
Everyone stood stock-still, waiting until the girl was clear out of earshot, before letting out multiple sighs of relief; even Vegeta, the prince of a race of warriors that had taken over more planets than one could count, breathed out as the threatening teenager vanished inside the temple.
Suddenly, Maka gulped. "Oh no..." She muttered.
"What? What's wrong?" Soul asked, looking around.
"Crona and Platnum are still inside..."
"...Oh crap..."
Mere seconds passed, before two screams echoed out of the temple, and Crona and Platnum came running out, clearly terrified. Platnum had stopped as soon as he'd passed Vegeta(he figured it was safe enough a place), however, the usually quiet Demon-Swordsman ran so far that he nearly fell off of the tall structure they were on; Maka had been quick enough to grab the back of his robe before he flew off.
"Note to self; never piss off Kagami..." Nick muttered, still shaking.

The sun began to fall, and the group was still waiting for David to return. "So, you have any threes?" Jack asked, and Tsubaki shook her head.
"Go fish." Jack sighed, picking up another card from the pile. "Patty, do you have any sixes?"
The hyperactive girl nodded, crying out in joy and slamming down two cards. "...Those are nines..." Her older sister, Liz, sighed, mentally facepalming.
Chad growled a bit, letting one arm dangle over the side of Kami's Lookout. "Sonuvabitch! When the hell is David gonna get here?"
"Gotta be patient, Chad." Nick groaned, drawing random shapes in the dust. "...Hey, is it just me, or do you feel a Battle Power coming this way?"
"Is it David?" Chrissy asked, looking up.
Everyone turned to the source, and Kagami gulped. "Is that F-Frenzie?"
"NO." Chad shouted, quickly.
"I think it is-"
"NO IT'S NOT."
"Yep, that's Frenzie." Nick gulped, and everyone stared in terror as the energy got closer.
"...DAMMIT WE'RE ALL DEAD." Chad yelled, taking stance. "...Wait a tic. Vegeta!" He grinned. "You're here, that means we're safe, right?"
The Saiyan let out an exasperated sigh, and turned to face the Power Level, growling. "Fine, fine, I'll take care of this...I feel like a goddamned maid." Frenzie appeared in the distance, and Vegeta smirked, raising a palm. "Time to say goodbye, Frenzie! BIG BANG ATTACK!"
A blue energy sphere flew from Vegeta's hand, and the Saiyan felt a kind of satisfaction as it neared his target. Why, if he hadn't been bound to this place, Frenzie would've been dead long ago.
Unfortunately, their relief was cut short as Frenzie simply caught the energy ball and swatted it away.
Then, he was upon them, landing in front of Vegeta. Frenzie lashed out, and in one punch, Vegeta went flying across the platform, blood spewing from his mouth. The man smirked, crossing his arms. "I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but I don't like balls."
Everyone simply stared in shock, the reality sinking in. "His..." Kagami gulped. "His Power Level spiked...to match Vegeta's...!"
"Goddammit, David!" Chad gulped. "Where the f*ck are you? WE NEED YOU!"
"Now then," Frenzie sneered, "who's next?" He shifted his gaze, looking at everyone in the group before settling on his target. "YOU!"
Kagami screamed, too terrified to move, as Frenzie made a beeline towards her, fists raised. Then, Frenzie was gone, hit to the side by a small blue-and-orange blur. Konata floated above the ground, one leg in a cast. "Leave my friends alone, you crazy bastard!"
Frenzie stood up, growling. "I thought I put you out of commission, girl! Or do I need to break another body part to teach you a lesson?" He leapt at the girl, roaring in anger. "THIS TIME IT'LL BE YOUR NECK!"
The two lashed out at each other, but no matter what Konata did, it wasn't enough; eventually the blunette was doubled over, panting. She spat at the ground, growling as she glared Frenzie in the eye. "Asshole..."
CRAK!
Konata's eyes widened as Frenzie's kick connected with the side of her head, and the small girl flew into the temple headfirst, causing that section of it to crumble on top of her. "KONATA, NO!" Kagami screamed, flying over as fast as she could to clear the rubble.
Frenzie cackled, watching as the twin-tailed girl desperately moved the rubble out of the way and more came to help her. "Now then, do I have your attention?" He snarled. "Deliver this message to Haisan Dabide; tell him Frenzie will be waiting for him in Inyo three days from now! If he's not there by sunset, this whole planet will be destroyed!"
The group down below growled as the man began to fly away, and Nick muttered something under his breath that probably wasn't appropriate for someone of his age. Everyone got back to clearing the rubble, and eventually, Konata was freed, covered in cuts and bruises, but alive.
"Kagami..." She coughed, struggling to sit up. "Is everyone...okay?"
The younger girl nodded, resting the blunette's head in her arms. "Come on, let's get you out of this wreck." She instructed, beginning to pick the girl up.
BSHOOM!
A light pink beam shot through both of their chests, and the two girls fell over as everyone turned in shock at the source.
"Oh, and pay no mind to that little act!" Frenzie cackled. "Just some pent-up aggression aimed towards the Legendary Girl A!"
And just like that, he was gone.

(1): No. I'm not doing an 'OVER NINE THOUSAAAANND!' joke. It's old, and quite frankly, it's gotten annoying after, what, almost twenty years?
(2): A cookie goes to the first person who knows what Konata is referencing.
