The feel of
Rain
trickling down my skin
conglomerating into larger drops
racing to the Earth
Faster
Are soft
and sweet
But I enjoy the smell of creosote
opening its pores to absorb
fragments
of water swirling in the air
much more.
There is nothing like a desert storm
