Cheery Tree

I sat under my favorite cheery tree, the pink blossoms falling around me. The stress of the world just seemed too much for me to bear sometimes. Sometimes I wondered how I pulled through each day. Being who I was meant me trying to like the big sister and the smart one. Taking care of them was becoming nothing but trouble for me, but it was my duty.

Cecelia was such a sweetheart. If she didn't have the problem of having those powers, she'd be a real impact on the world. Rokella was mysterious but nice and full of love and laughter. She only wanted to normal. Jenelle was the moody one, but she only wanted somebody to understand her pain. Kini was the kind of leader, one who was insecure and very mysterious.

It was my job to take of the four. But I was young myself, and they depended so much on me. It was hard not for stress to cloud my head. So I was sitting under the cheery tree, playing my flute, calming my nerves. With a scene like I was seeing, life seemed like it wasn't hard.

For that moment and time, I felt at peace.

Rising, I walked inside. Cecelia, or CeCe, was combing her long, red-blonde hair as Rokella, or Rocky, played the pinto. Jenelle was drawing, and Kini was growing flowers in the bathroom. Sitting on the pinto, I played my flute with Rocky. We smiled at each other.

They were all younger than me with so much trouble ahead of them. But for this moment, now, things were pretty peaceful.

"When do we have to go?" Rocky asked me.

"Tomorrow," I sighed, "are you guys packed?"

She nodded, and brushed her pretty brunette hair out of her coco almond eyes. She was a good kid. All of them where.

But the best place to start this story is from the begaining.
