Another long day,
Without you so much longer.
I wish for your smile,
And that kiss which makes me stronger.
Yet the hours pass so slowly,
And I remain all alone,
I frown and look coldly,
At all that I have known.
They're too long these cold days,
And I fear I enjoy not,
Their pitilus and dull humor,
and the way I am left no peeking light.
Alas Two more of these days,
Await me till I see you again.
Two more to waste away,
How Glad I will be to see this end.
