I still feel like I'm rocking,
The cold, intense shards still
Cut my cheeks.
My fingernails pull on only ice,
And even it is leaving soon.
She stares from her perch
And refuses to fly anymore.
But I won't take off without
A partner in crime.
I'm underground or away from you,
But the seat doesn't feel different.
I always think I'm choking
These days.
