There are no tears,

There are no scars,

Just thoughts, and words, and all of that.

The silence, of those not oppressed,

The silence of choice, of things not said,

Because thought says, 'prevent unrest'

We do not, interfere.

Nor do we seek to cause, conflict.

And yet were our thoughts ever to become public,

We'd not like to think on the consequences of such.

Eternally we say nothing,

And forever more we regret our silence.
