How can you describe a butterfly?
Wild.
Majestic.
Beautiful.
Free.
When life does the wrong,
they flutter on that howling,
snarling wind of hurt and
betrayal, numb to the sting.
Their life is short, but well lived,
fluttering from flower to flower,
to a cute child's nose.
At the end,
they don't leave behind much,
but what they do leave is a memory.
A memory so treasured, but soon forgotten.
