In a voice I knew far far too well,
breaking the spell of the past,
instead of the Summer,
you emerge from leaves of the sun.
Orange, yellow, red, beautiful.
I saw those sparkling hazel eyes,
the ones I know so well.
Your heart started beating again,
and that smile that I fell in love with,
years ago returned.
You whispered I love yous,
as you refused to embrace me.
I can still see the uncertainty
in your words, you don't know
how to get around this rebirth.
Or how to get around us.
But it doesn't matter,
because a miracle raised you
from the dead.
Oh Jaykub.. I'm so glad you're you again..
