In the shadows,
I am hiding,
Hiding from this cruel, messed up word.
In the shadows,
I am sighing,
Sighing from disappointment in my own kind.
In the shadows,
I am crying,
Crying for the lonely, the damaged, the broken.
In the shadows,
I am hoping,
Hoping things will get better...
Hoping that one day I won't be alone in this cruel world,
No longer,
Never again.
