Will I ever get used to this?
Not having the answers,
I mean.
Remember when we were younger?
Everything was so simple,
it seems.
There was black, and there was white
Good and bad,
easy distinctions.
But now, it seems like the questions
are harder,
more complex.
Not one plus one (equal to two)
or even three plus five
not anymore.
Now it's more like why is this the way it is
and discuss your feelings
don't oversimplify.
What do you do in this situation
the one that was never supposed to happen
the painful one?
How do you react to other people
breaking social norms,
the rules?
What do you do when there are no answers,
just more questions
always one more?
