Your heart is like a puzzle
Slotted so perfectly together,
Your warmth is abandoned in rapid faith
You're not mine.
The icy tendrils remain, lingering
Holding the flame in place.
Keeping it from flickering with the heat.
The cold red diamonds
Which taunt and tease on the bony fingers of jealousy.
A raven in the dark. Its face twisted and eyes shining.
It hops to and fro before taking to the tinted sky,
Its velvet wings exposed to the burning rays of wind.
