Thunderstorm

The sky is dark with the storm clouds

Rolling in from the stormy sea

The heat pressed down as they gathered

To release their pent up anger

Thunder cracks as the lightning flashes

Filling the skies with their fury

Down pours heavy rain from the clouds

Before the thunder starts over

The sky is clear without a cloud

Yesterday's storm now forgotten

As the rivers flow deep and fast

And the sun shines down on the fields
