Hey! Below is a poem about Middletone Beach. I have spent many fun days swimming there and wrote this poem last year. Unfortunately the website is currently not letting me have breaks after every four lines but I'll try to fix it another time. Review please?
Middleton Beach
The sun beats down onto the sand
Turning it to molten pebbles
The gentle breeze blows the sea spray
Across the beach and up the cliff
The breakers roll in one by one
Crash down a hundred metres out
Hear a swish as foaming water
Comes in to shore to lap and play
The surfers are way out the back
Catching the massive breakers
The children play and boogie board
In the gentle, shallow waters
The sun passes over the horizon
And darkness falls across the beach
The small creatures come out to play
And scuttle along the pale seashore
