Golden Gates

I have seen hope within a stronghold

One we must overcome

For behind the gates so golden

Is dream for more than one

In the cold and lonely endeavor

As the other sheep shall sleep

We believe in its power forever

And for it we weep and weep.

It compels us to do right

And brings us toward the path

We follow it all the night

No matter weathers wrath.

For the golden gates have called upon

Us few this very night.

And it we're here for the long run

As we brace for its great might

Its love is over pouring

Its forgiveness is a key

But its hope is only beginning

For the hope starts with me.

In the night so dark and cold

Will end in warmth so great

Lets walk together forever

Into the golden gates.
