Preface

Drip, drip, drip. My eyes flew open. Where was I? why was I here? I stood up and felt around for a switch. Click! The lights came on instantly.

A cell?-Yes! I was locked in a cell. Water leaked through the ceiling and hit the floor repetitively. Drip, drip, drip. "Look for something," I thought. "Anything?"

A window! That's my escape! I ran to it. "No," I screamed. It was jammed. "No!"

The flew open and I pressed myself against the wall. A shadow appeared in the doorway, but it was too dark to actually see the person.

"Who are you," I whispered. "What do you want!" I was shaking drastically.

My only reply from it was a light hissing sound. Then the body began to mold into-a snake? Drip, drip, drip, went the water. I looked back out the window and my eyes grew wide.

"What is he," I thought. "A snake? No….."

A serpent…..
