Low and Lurking

When the moon rises high

The spirits swoop and fly

No more lights are working

With all the creatures low and lurking

Panic is about

Young children scream and shout

As the monsters come near

They run in fear

Calling all the ghosts and the demons of the night

To bring a ghastly, gruesome hideous sight

The signs say beware

You are in for a scare

Don't try to hide

Or you'll be sure to find

The shadows not your own

You will never be alone

With weapons drawn, faces a blaze

The brilliant flame turns to haze

As your heart starts to climb

You

Are

Out

Of

Time.
