Speak to me of love
Please, oh please
Do not speak to me of love
For thou knowest not of what true love is
Save thy tainted words
So thou may console thine self later.
For true love can stop my heart
And make it beat yet again
'Tis through love
That thou may place steel or sword in me
And I carest not
For as long as I may gaze upon thine face
No breath shall I draw
'till one be placed within me
By thine lips
But once we part my soul lies incomplete
And my heart,
Forever sleeps
