"You have no bloody right to speak down to me like that!" I, Rauri Windsor, yelled at my oh-so-perfect older brother, Lonve.
"Says you!" Lonve replied.
"I'm leaving Lonve, whether you like it or not," I said. "If you want to try and stop me, you may do as you please, but you're just wasting your time."
"Really?" Lonve challenged. "Go ahead-try and pack one more thing into that suit case."
The big brother wand came into view, but I knew just how to counteract it, for my wand came into view as well.
Lonve raised his wand over his head and went into a custom spell stance.
"Playing it rough, are we?" I asked, teasing him.
"Don't mess with me Rauri Diana-Leanne Fitzpatrick Windsor," Lonve said. "I'm not in a good mood today and you're just old enough for me to magically kick your rear for misbehavior."
"First thing's first, Lon," I said. "One: never call me by my full name unless we're at a royal ceremony or I get to call you "Lonve Gregory-Nikolai Windsor". Two: it is now official that you are no less of a wizard than I a witch, for you still use the word "rear" when speaking about my specific body parts. Three: Don't try to stop me, because I may be younger, but I am as much trained in magic as you are. Four: I'm moving to Pendle Hill whether you like it or not. I am old enough to make my own decisions and I'm going to live with Holland to help her with Ravenwood Manor. Now, if you want this to be an all-out magic brawl with the "big guns", then fine, but do it outside with the cover shield. I can't risk destruction of the castle or you blowing our cover."
"Since when do you care?" Lonve asked. Was he serious? Just as I was contemplating a retort to his comment-slash-question, I saw a wand being raised and the first words of a chant being said…
"Unlearty treasnet unkil-" was all he got out before I felt a spell that prevented any magical term from coming from either of our lips and the power in our wands become dormant. I could feel it, and for a witch, having your magic restrained is the worst feeling to ever have.
My little sister, Paiga, had come into the room with her trainer wand in hand raised. I then knew that she had cast the spell. She was just mere weeks away from getting an official wand and her full magic potential along with her maximum master powers granted to her from the ancestors above, and she was to be sure to push that little trainer's wand to its limit before she switched over to one that she could call hers.
"If you don't stop, I'll kill both powers for the maximum time limit," she yelled. Paiga wasn't at all "little". Granted, she was decades younger than I, but she was very skilled in the arts that were the gift of the Windsor witches.
Shall I start with the beginning? I think that maybe I should. My name is Rauri. It is pronounced like the American name "Rory", but spelled differently. I was to be a boy, but as anybody can see, I am a girl. As for the American name origin-I was conceived in the United States. There's not much to say about me. I'm a typical young woman. I love movies, spending time with my best friend Holland, and eating chocolate. I have an older brother, Lonve, and a younger sister, Paiga. Oh, and even though I'm considered young, I'm exactly 318 years of age. Did I mention that I'm a witch?
It's not just me that's the gifted magic wielder in the family. Lonve and Paiga have the gift as well. Shall I mention something amazing? I live in the Windsor Castle.
I am Princess Rauri Diana-Leanne Fitzpatrick Windsor, and I, am a Windsor Witch.
