with written words upon each scripted sheet,

therefore brings the mind relenting pleasure.

I love the feelings absorbed in the book,

the unexpected surprises unwind.

summoned to another world overlooked

brings great exhilaration to my mind.

I read to escape dull reality

where no imagination of mirth dwells.

escape to dreams of creativity

is where the thrilling story of myths tells.

Yet the characters tale has now ended,

my mind and heart will never be mended.
