I never know where I stand with you.
You're constantly changing. Name, story, game, face.
I just need to know if I'm worth anything to you
Or am I just like everyone else?
In the story of you, do I get a footnote or a long paragraph wrote?
What's my worth? A bright gemstone or a lone shadow, just
in the background of you? I need to know.
I can't waste time on a slow turtle race, this is my life.
I don't have space for some Man-Of-Many-Masks
I have a bus full of loved ones.
Just one seat for that special someone.
Will it be you? Do you have your ticket for this ride?
This ride most would call silly, but it's really my life.
So find that ticket, or back up, cause this bus is taking off.
I don't have time for false acquaintances
Don't have time for me, I don't have time for you.
Just spit it out, so I can change routes.
I need to to know if you're in for the long haul, or just my downfall
