and then this:

break with a careful-placed space

backspace and erase

words all askew

and sometimes, rarely, this:

laptop shut with a "click"

irritated and sick

and you just will not work, will you?

but then, then there's this, this wonderful, magical—

meter and rhythm and beat

louder and better and harder and softer

and beautiful, too

and when it's right, when it's right, it's something lovely—something magical and lyrical and incredible and lovely, and I just—

I can't—

I cannot help but do it all again.
