The Journey

The journey starts with a single step

Ignoring the distance

Seeing the path

Pushing on

Step aside here I come

They say life is hard

They say their lost

They say what's the point?

Can they not see

The pleasures on the way?

Do they see the distance

And say here I come?

While I look around and say here I am

One step at a time,

Forgoing all obstacles

I stumble once or twice

I pick myself up,

I continue on

I approach the final hours

I see it now

I stop a moment

And turn to see

The friends I made

And the deeds I have done

I see smiles on faces

And they push me on

They will miss me but

The path they took

Meets here in

The End
