Well, I couldn't just leave her guitar in my house, now could I? She had been gone ten minutes before I actually realized it was there, and I didn't know where she was headed, so I decided to drive to the KU dorms, where I knew she'd be camping out for the rest of the semester. Instead of heading straight to her dorms, I headed to the downtown area away from her dorms, just to get a little time to myself before I had to see Kylie again.

There were a LOT of stores in the plaza. Lines of restaurants and shoe stores flooded the wide streets, and it was super beautiful during Christmastime, when the lights were strung up on poles around the city. I stopped for lunch in a Chinese restaurant, P.F. Changs, just to see if I was in the Chinese mood. I guess I was, because five minutes later I found myself in a comfy little booth poring over the menu.

"Hey, good-lookin', didn't think I'd ever see you again." I looked up and my mouth almost dropped to the floor. Somehow, that drummer managed to find me again, and of all places it had to be a fancy Chinese restaurant part of a chain. Noting that I hadn't said anything yet, he slid into the booth opposing me and opened the extra menu the waiter forgot to take. "You didn't forget me already, did you?" he asked, and winked. I finally closed my mouth and looked down, blushing.

"Taylor, what are you doing here? Aren't you like, super famous? On a North American tour right now? AKA, supposed to be with the other Foo Fighters?" I whispered frantically. He looked down at his menu and bit his lip. "Yeah, but they decided to give me a break, I'm not doing so hot right now." he said, sounding sad. "What happened?" I said, my voice filling with sympathy. He smiled and started to tell me about himself.

"My wife, well, let's just say we don't really see things the same way anymore. She's become, um, a bit violent sometimes. I told her I wanted to split because she wasn't the same girl I fell in love with, and she threw a fucking lamp at my head. A lamp! Anyway, I filed for divorce, but she somehow managed to keep her cool during the court session and snagged the kid's custody. I'm single and kid-less. What else could make a guy more depressed?" I looked down at my hands, now intertwined with each other in my lap, and sighed.

"Wait, tso are you more upset about the divorce, or losing your kids?" I asked. He shrugged. "Guess you've never had kids before, huh." He said. I gave him the what-do-you-think look and he laughed. "No, guess not. Sorry. Well, they're my whole life. I love them to death. Alison and I did work out a contract though, so I get to see them once a week. Not enough for me, even though I'm away all the time, what with this Foo Fighters shit."

"Don't you love being in the Foo Fighters though?" I asked. "Yeah, but sometimes it's a hassle, having to be away from home. Anyway, enough about me. How's your little friend, uh, Kacie?" he asked. "Kylie." I corrected, "And, well, let's just say I think she's had enough excitement for the next ten years of her life." "Why is that?" He rose one eyebrow and gave me a mischievous look. "Well, I think she's officially gone insane. Ever since Dave gave her that guitar, she won't stop calling it Dave Junior and going on about how it's her 'baby'. I don't think Dave would ever want to have a baby with THAT if she's gonna keep acting like she was born in a mental hospital.

"I mean, I love Kylie and all, she's great but she's really scary sometimes." He nodded. "Why are you here?" he asked me. "She left the one thing she loves at my house and I was going to return it, but I decided to have some me time before I returned to crazy land. Dave's guitar." He nodded again like he understood and leaned back a little. "Did you realize we've been sitting here for ten minutes talking and haven't even taken our order yet?" I quickly reopened my menu just as the waiter came around to get our orders.

We talked for another twenty minutes or so while we ate and it turned out, Taylor was a really sweet guy. He was hilarious and smart, caring and patient, and we had a lot in common. The more I talked to him, the more I stared liking him. We finished eating and sat there for a few minutes, just enjoying each other's company. I realized how cute he looked when his long hair fell in his face and when he smiled. I also realized just how much I loved shaggy long hair.

"I have to get going, Foo Fighters is having a practice gig in about an hour and I can't be late. Dave says it's supposed to get my mind off of my problems or whatever. I really liked talking to you and I have a feeling this won't be the first time we hang out together. What do you say tomorrow night you come to the Foo concert? I'll get you VIP passes and you can hang out with us. Even one for Kylie, if she won't go too crazy." he said.

My heart leapt up to my throat and I nodded. He pulled off a pen from a passing waiter's checkbook and tore off a napkin. "Call me when you decide you want me to come." he said, then left the booth, but quickly came back. "I'm not going to make you pay for all of this. It's on me. Besides, I have enough money to spare anyway. See ya." he waved then took off again. I took the phone number and quickly entered it into my phone. It was going to be a hell of a night.

You like? Lots of talking, I know, but I wanted you guys to know the whole story too and not just for her to say 'To sum it up, he got divorced and lost the custody of his kids'. This was actually a really weird dream I had one time (not the P.F. Changs part, but the divorce part) and Taylor, if you're reading this, dreams are unconcious thoughts and I couldn't help it. You were on my mind and somehow the divorce managed it's way in there. I think it's kinda funny, and I wanted to wiggle it in a story somehow, but if it offends anybody please let me know so I can take it off. If by offending you, you mean Taylor Hawkins is going to marry me and not you, then suck it up I'm not changing it because eventually I'M going to marry him so get over it. Sorry I'm very overprotective about my 'man' lol. Thank you Luckycool9 and TheCajunPanda, Luckycool9 because you favorited my story and ThaCajunPanda because you sent me a lovely review with feedback too! I will work on that next chapter, but the whole story is pretty much just going to be people talking, if that's okay. I always try to do 'I' stories because I can put more detail in about what they're thinking, and because I think 'Isabelle thought that Taylor was hot' sounds weird. That's just me though. Love y'all and please favorite and review!
